WATERLOO — Hi! It’s been yet another fun and wild 4 months here at Socratica. There are inevitably things we fail to capture in these updates - it’s hard to measure the confidence built or friendships made - but here’s a glimpse on what we’ve been up to!

Co-working Sessions

Socratica sessions are at the heart of what we do — the place where folks of all backgrounds and disciplines come together to make time to work on the side projects they’ve been putting off. This term, we ran two sessions every Sunday, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, consisting of two 50 minute deep-work sessions, followed by demos where attendees are encouraged to share the progress they made, whether they’re in the ideation stage and have just a couple of bullet points on a Google Doc, or a fully-fledged prototype.

Our demand keeps growing – with the WiFi struggling to keep up at our venues! Across all events, we had 1,713 unique attendees (up from 763 from last term).
